Creator compensation policy

First-payment economics, recorded plainly.

The starter partnership pays creators for the first successful customer payment they directly generate. This page is the public operating summary.

Effective for the current Driftbreak creator starter program.

Starter commission

Creators earn 50% of the first successful customer payment directly attributed to them. It applies only to that customer's first successful paid charge.

Commission base

Commission uses the amount Driftbreak actually collects after discounts and before tax. Failed payments, taxes, refunded money, chargebacks, and future recurring payments are excluded.

Example: a $29 plan with a $9 discount produces $20 before tax and a $10 creator commission.

Attribution

A referral-link click opens a 30-day window. The last eligible creator-link touch wins. A valid creator code explicitly entered by the customer overrides passive link attribution.

Clearing and payout

Commission is pending for 14 days after payment, then clears if no refund or chargeback occurred. Payouts are processed manually each month. There is no minimum payout threshold: any positive cleared unpaid balance is eligible. Each payout includes a statement of cleared commission, adjustments, and payouts.

Refunds and chargebacks

Before payout, the matching commission is voided. After payout, Driftbreak records a negative adjustment against future creator earnings rather than normally seeking direct repayment.

Growth beyond starter

Performance is normally reviewed after roughly 3-5 posts or enough useful data exists. Repeatable results may support continued performance, hybrid, or fixed-price work. Views alone do not guarantee a new deal.

Invalid activity

Self-referrals, fake accounts, collusion, manipulated purchases, fraudulent payments, and deliberate attribution manipulation may be rejected or voided.
