A spec is only useful when it remains true during coding
Ordinary spec-driven development turns an idea or feature request into requirements, tasks, and code. That is useful once the product direction is already clear. AI-built applications often fail earlier: the product, source of truth, scope, or authority model is still unsettled. Driftbreak starts there.
From product uncertainty to implementation authority
Driftbreak turns a new build, messy existing app, or drifting product into a connected authority surface that a coding agent can follow without repeatedly reinventing the product.
- Confirmed product purpose, people served, and protected promise
- Architecture for objects, workflows, authority, scope, and what must not drift
- Technical blueprint for modules, records, write paths, interfaces, validation, and failure behavior
- AI-Directed Development sessions that inspect the repository, form bounded missions, and bring material decisions back to the builder
The spec does not become a dead document
Implementation exposes facts that no early specification can perfectly predict. Driftbreak therefore treats the package as living implementation authority: the Leader compares its promised capabilities against repository reality, records what is live, partial, missing, deferred, or evidence-gated, and reports the next meaningful decision in plain English.
Built for the coding agent you already use
Use the package with Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or another capable coding agent. One agent can run the operating loop, or a Leader can direct a separate Executor when the work is larger. The builder remains the final authority on product and architecture changes.
